The Akashic Book of Records

This blog is about the Akashic Book of Records

‘Why am I here and for what purpose? Put simply, I believe this fundamental question has always been and continues to be, the driving force behind our need to explore, know, question and discover, and the very results of our endeavor to answer this question, are manifest in every conceivable form, across every spectrum, both energetically and physically.

As a child, I was blessed with a mother who’s firm belief in Reincarnation allowed her to context many a question (asked by me), from the view point that we are forever returning, learning, and going home in cycles.

Had I have been raised with the view that we are here for one short lifetime and we are no more and no less than our physical being, then tackling the age- old question of life’s purpose and meaning – would have represented an exercise in meaninglessness. Let’s be practical - how much can one soul truly be expected to accomplish, in one short life-time?

In order to know why we are born, we need to understand where it is we return to when we die, and what it is like before we are born again. This is where the existence of the Akashic Records serves any of us who are driven to explore, and have the courage to face every thought, intention and action undertaken by us over lifetimes. As well as view any number of intended possible future lifetimes and paths.

The Akashic Book of Records is referenced in a great many cultures, including Sanskrit philosophy and Indian mythology and is identified in both the Old and New Testaments as ‘The Book of Life’.  It is traceable at least as far back as the Semitic peoples and includes the Arabs, the Assyrians, the Phoenicians, the Babylonians, and the Hebrews. All of these cultures maintained the belief that there is in existence, some kind of celestial tablets,’ or recording, which contains the history of humankind as well as all manner of spiritual information.

Edgar Cayce remains possibly the most extensive source of contemporary knowledge when speaking of the Akashic Records. When asked how he ‘sourced’ the information he provided when giving a Psychic/ Clairvoyant reading he replied that there essentially two divine ‘Sources ‘ of information he was privy to, those being, The ‘Book of Life’ and The Akashic Records.

In describing the ‘Book of Life’ he said that it was ‘a record of God, of thee, thy soul within and the knowledge of the same’. When speaking of the ‘Akashic Records’ he suggests that each of us writes the story of our lives through our thoughts, our deeds, and our interactions with the rest of creation. It is also suggested in his Readings, that the Records are not simply a transcription of the past but include the present, the future, and certain probabilities as well. This information effects us in the here and now. In fact, the Akashic Records has such an impact on our lives and the potentials and probabilities we draw toward us that any exploration of them cannot do anything other then provide us with insights into the nature of ourselves, and our relationship with the Universe.

‘There is much more to our lives, our histories, and our individual influence upon our tomorrows, than we have perhaps dared to imagine. By accessing information from the Akashic Records, the universe's computer database, much might be revealed to us. The world as we have collectively perceived it is but a faint shadow of reality.’ Adapted from: ‘Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records’ by Kevin J. Todeschi

So, given all of the above, you can well understand my enduring interest in the Edgar Cayce Readings/Predications, and in particular the Akashic Book of Records.

While researching for this blog it became apparent that there are a number of well educated and spiritually attuned practitioners working with  ‘The Akashic Records’ and Akasha energy, as well as an enormous range of published titles available to all on the same subject.

Should Spirit move you to seek personal knowledge and information from the Akashic Records I would encourage you to trust your instincts and explore both written knowledge and perhaps a consultation, with a metaphysical practitioner working with the Akasha .

As a practical measure I would always advise a little research and (where possible), active verification of the consultants’ experience and credentials in the field prior to making your appointment.

"Whether it's technology, transportation, communication, education, or entertainment, the computer age has revolutionized the globe and the ways in which we understand and interact with one another.   No segment of modern society has gone unaffected.  The amount of information now stored in computer memory and crossing the Internet highway daily is literally unfathomable. And yet, this vast complex of computer systems and collective databases cannot begin to come close to the power, the memory, or the omniscient recording capacity of the Akashic Records."  ~ Lucy Rinehart (Published  Oct 16, 2008)

Wishing you all a week filled with joy, love and light,

This blog is about your past life influences your present life

Have you ever wondered why the same things, whether good or bad, keep on happening to you throughout your life without explanation? Have you ever wondered why when you meet people you either have a connection or you don’t, or have you ever been in a situation or a place that you feel like you’ve been in before, but can’t explain? This could be because you have actually been there, met them before or done something to someone, or had an experience with them in one of your previous lives.

It is easy to make sense of previous lives and how they work, and when you begin to look deep into the details, you may realise that you have lessons to learn that were still active from your previous life. You may also realise that there are a number of things that happened in your previous lives that influence you strongly in your current carnation.

Influences from your past lives can be from simple things like your lifestyle preferences, what you like or dislike, the things you are comfortable or uncomfortable with, and habit patterns. All of these things can directly link to how you lived in previous lives. All of these direct links relate directly to your karma.

Karma refers to the divine belief of reason with outcome; where your intent and (reason) sway the future (outcome), which means karma is often long-standing, even curtailing from prior lives, and the course of your current life is somewhat encoded by your former lifetimes. In other words, what we didn’t accomplish, we then return to finish. Karma in the present affects your future in the current life, as well as the quality and nature of your future lives.

Certain phobias can link to former lives, for example, a fear of heights could represent how you died in a previous life, maybe falling from a building, a fear of flying could relate to a previous life experience in a plane crash, and so on.

Everyone has at least one thing that they do particularly well. Whether it is physically, artistically, or business related it is generally something that comes effortlessly and naturally to you. Talents and aptitudes you have established in past lives continue into your present life, but with that also come your problems and difficulties. Many surgeons, nurses or doctors may have had previous lives as healers of some sort. Many psychoanalysts or therapists may have had past lives as clerics or preachers. Many authors, musicians, performers and artists would have improved their crafts over several lifespans.

Other things that can be influenced from previous lives are your love of the ocean or admiration of the, which can be subjective to past-life memories. Also reacting to certain sounds and smells in this life because your body recognises it from a previous life is a common link.

Your sexual preferences play a big part in reincarnation. Because we reincarnate as both men and women during our many lives, our soul can bring with it many of the previous physiognomies from past dispositions, and when these are prominent, they could easily outshine the new personal makeup.

In your current life, you may feel confused about who you are sexually, and go as far as opting for a sex change. If in your former life, you were very sexually active as someone of the opposite sex to what gender you have incarnated as, you may feel the strong urge to be the opposite gender. Your comfort levels with sex and intimacy can also relate directly to how you acted or were treated in a former life, and your strong emotional attraction to a particular person could mean there was a close relationship to them in past lives.

At the end of your life if you haven’t successfully learnt a lesson, you get another chance to try again in another life. What often happens if the lessons are still not learned; is patterns start to develop and become more ingrained in your soul, and over future life times if these issues are not rectified, they will result in increasing difficulty to overcome them.

Past life karma is clearly existent in your present life. If you can work towards completing life lessons you believe may be present, you can modify your purpose for lifetimes to come.

Wishing you many Blessings,

Cecelia

This blog is about how spiritual healers can help you

Spiritual Healing is underpinned by the principle that all living matter is manifest through the divine, that is, the universal creative power that is the essence of all matter.

Spiritual Healing takes many forms and disciplines. Perhaps the oldest and most easily recognized form of directed or intentional energetic healing is found in the use of Prayer. When a congregation prays’ for healing with conscious intention and direction, the desired outcome is very often manifested in a “miraculous healing and recovery of a loved one.” In effect, we are witness to the physical manifestation of intention, bought into being, by a meta-concert of focused healing energy.

It is generally understood that in practice, the healer is acting as a conduit to the divine, functioning as a channel, through which source based healing energy and knowledge flows – to the benefit of the clients’ physical and spiritual health.

Energy healing truly bridges the gap between science and spirituality. The re-emergence of spiritual and psychic healing disciplines combined with present day understanding of the role bio-magnetic energy plays in maintaining good health has seen a huge swing in people seeking to heal using energetic or alternative means.

There are any number of Energetic healing modalities you may want to explore, and I tend to think choosing the discipline that resonates most strongly with your needs and circumstances as they currently stand is the best guide.

Here is a very a brief insight into the more commonly recognized healing modalities available to all seekers of well-balanced spiritual and physical health.

Reiki

A healing technique based on the principle that the therapist channels’ energy into the patient by means of touch, activating the natural healing processes of the patient's body, restoring physical and emotional wellbeing.

Chakra Balancing and Clearing

When a Chakra becomes stressed or blocked it may produce negative effects on the organs in that region of the body and contribute to negative emotional states, such as depression or anxiety. A practitioner involved in working with the energy of chakras, will clear blockages and ensure the chakras are opened and moving, with our energy running smoothly from the top of our heads to our sacral chakra and up again (in a circle).

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is said to work because needles stimulate acupuncture points, releasing a flow of energy called qi, or chi. Once again, the principle involves maintaining the healthy circular flow of energy, ensuring good physical, mental and spiritual health.

Pranic Healing

Pranic Healing involves scanning the human aura to detect any imbalance of energies, known as energetic congestion and depletion. It then uses cleansing techniques to remove negative and used-up energies and energizing techniques to improve the flow of energy and strengthen the aura and the chakras. Once the aura is balanced, clean and strong, there is an improvement in all aspects of health.

Clairvoyant Psychic and Healers

Psychic Healers, in the main are spiritually highly aware people, vibrating on a finely sensitive level, and overflowing with compassion for their clients.

Sometimes, you may experience health problems due to an imbalance in your energy field. An experienced Psychic will use their intuition and connection to the Source to clear blockages in the flow of your astral energy and restore balance. As well, many Psychic Healers while acting as a conduit between matter and Spirit will provide relevant advice and enlightening information which may include past life trauma’ or events impacting you this lifetime, and how to negate the impact on this lifetime.

“Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn’t you, all of the expectations, all of the beliefs’, and becoming who you are.” ~ Rachel Naomi Remen

I hope you enjoy my musings and wish you a week filled with love, light and gentleness.

This blog is about understanding the Astral Plane and Astral Travel

Astral Projection is a very common occurrence.  Five to ten percent of the world’s population has experienced a conscious out of body experience at least once. Astral Travel or Projection, are terms used to describe the ‘out of body experience’. The existence of the Astral Plane and the Astral body is recorded in texts and esoteric material pre-dating cultures as ancient as the Phoenician, Chaldean and Sumerian.

Historically, in both the East and West, the existence of the astral body or the subtle body has long been acknowledged, and on the basis of that recognition, profound esoteric healing techniques and modalities were developed. These healing practices remain widely used to this present day with great efficacy.

Think energy Healers, Reiki Master’s, Distance Healing and any number of practitioners specifically working with the energetic body. Classically, the Astral Body is described as an intermediate body of light linking the rational soul to the physical body, while the astral plane is an intermediate world of light between Heaven and Earth. Astral projection or travel signifies the astral body leaving the physical to travel the astral plane. It’s interesting to note that widespread accounts of ‘Astral Travel’ are documented in religious texts worldwide. Commonly the texts describe the experience of ‘spiritual/astral travel’ as the ‘soul’s journey or ‘ascent’ into the higher realms.

For many of those who practice conscious Astral Projection, the experience,  from the first instance, validates and reinforces the understanding that life after the death of the physical body - is a reality. All describe the experience of finding themselves outside their physical bodies, totally aware and present, able to see, hear, touch, smell and taste. Given that this is how all people who’ve experienced a spontaneous OBE or a conscious Astral projection describe the world encountered in the Astral, it is impossible to dismiss the premise that life in the physical is just a moment’s journey away from our source of origin – our spiritual home.

Today, most of us are comfortable with the notion that we are energetic beings functioning within an infinite universe of energy and matter. But to keep it simple – we astral travel in our sleep. When we dream, we are unconsciously engaging in astral projection. In so much that when you are sleeping your soul leaves your body.

There is a physical ‘button’ or switch’ if you will, that is activated when you are deep in meditation, sleeping or engaged in conscious Astral projection or travel.  The switch, located deep in our brains, is known as the pineal gland and it releases a chemical known as DMT (Dimethyltryptamine). This chemical is what impels your soul from your body when sleeping, triggers the near death experience and activates the passage of the soul when the body is dying.

In reality few of us have any control over what the soul does when we are sleeping, in fact it is understood that when sleeping it is our subconscious in control. The difference between unconscious astral travel when asleep and dreaming; and practiced astral projection, is that with conscious astral projection you are able to control where your subtle body or soul travels in the first place. It is often described as ‘conscious or aware sleep’.

The benefits of practicing conscious astral traveling and out of body investigation are immeasurable as it spreads beyond the boundaries of the physical and rational. A great many people experience a profound shift and an inner blooming of their spiritual being, their perspective of themselves as spiritual and physical beings undergoes a transformation. They experience life with greater consciousness and vitality, certain in the knowledge that they are more than just a physical being destined to lead a short, physical only, finite life.

Many state the experience of connecting with a vast, universal energy – to the source itself. A transformation of understanding occurs, seemingly impenetrable fears, limitations of belief, cultural and religious impositions are shattered, leaving them with expansion and depth of personal inner freedom not previously encountered.

The benefits of practicing Astral Projection are too numerous to list. However should this short article resonate with you, and you feel directed to look into this soul enriching discipline, there are many reputable and authentic teachers of Astral Projection available for contact and information. As always, I urge that you do your ‘research’ prior to embarking on finding a teacher or instructor for intended personal transformation work and as ever, trust your intuition!

From the astral world we come at birth, and there we shall return at death. Someone asked me why we should try to connect with the astral world now. To this I reply, "Because that is where you will realize the freedom of your true nature. You were there as a soul cloaked in an astral form to start with; and because you are not there now and have lost that memory is why all your misery persists." By entering that other world, we learn the causes and healing of all suffering and diseases. We discover the secret of our existence—what happens after death, and where we were before birth, and how to live in the material world without losing our divine connection” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda

This blog is about how to establish a life of Harmony, Balance and Spirituality

We all know that overworked, stressed out feeling. The fatigue you feel from running around all day, and the drained feeling you get from knowing that you don’t have time to spend on yourself. While necessity forces us to go through these times, it’s critical that we learn to recognise when it’s time to take a break and bring our life back into balance. Here we look at three telltale signs your schedule is getting out of hand and the stress and pressure is piling up, and some suggestions on how to restore peace, spirituality and balance back into a stressed and overwrought life.

The Sign: You Feel Like Things Are Pointless

One of the clearest signs that you are overstressed and overworked is that you feel like the things you do a pointless and life is meaningless. This can quickly lead to an energy sapping state and even result in depression. A busy life that’s ruled more by routine than meaning can quickly lead to the feeling that you’re just ‘going through the motions’ and that nothing you do matters that much. But of course that’s far from the truth.

The Balance: Find Higher Purpose

Whether or not you feel it, you are connected to a higher purpose, but losing that vision can make you feel hopeless and aimless. Reconnecting with your higher purpose (or connecting to it for the first time) can be a transformative and exhilarating experience that boosts your energy, vitality and zeal for life. One way to approach this is to consult with an experienced clairvoyant or psychic. Not only does this process help you see more clearly how life is happening in the physical realm, but also how the metaphysical and spiritual realms may be leading or guiding your life in unseen ways. Having a strong spiritual connection helps you to find meaning in life, and enthusiasm for your contribution to the world.

The Sign: You Feel Cheated By Life

You do great work at your job, you’re always helping other people out and trying to be kind, and yet you feel like things are never working out for you, or people aren’t giving you the respect you would like. Nevertheless, you still keep trying your hardest to impress and make people admire you. As time goes on, you just keep working harder for their approval, and yet you seem to be noticed less. Needless to say, you feel cheated by life, and as though the work that you do is never appreciated.

The Balance: Reconsider Your Priorities

Life is about so much more than running around trying to ‘be good’ or impress people. If you want to bring the most happiness into this world, it’s important to learn how to prioritise yourself, and make time to connect to your own goals and inner life. Unfortunately, time for yourself isn’t going to just ‘happen’, and it certainly won’t if you’re already feeling stretched thin. Schedule time in your day to connect with yourself spiritually and emotionally, to ask yourself what you want out of life and how you will use the day to move towards that goal. Practice meditation, align your chakras, or consult a spiritual guide to help you let go of stress and focus on you.

The Sign: You Feel Unfulfilled

Without a doubt, a stressful life is an unfulfilling life. It might be that your high pressure job is not giving the rewarding feeling you were hoping for. Or that no matter how hard you work at home, you don’t feel appreciated for it. Although you didn’t mean for it to happen, perhaps your life has become repetitive and tedious, without a lot of connection to the things you used to enjoy. Feeling unfulfilled is one of the telltale signs of an overstressed life where you put a bigger priority on getting things done than looking after yourself.

The Balance: Connect to your Passion

Balancing out a feeling of not being fulfilled means connecting to your passion and bringing to life the part of you that is inspired, creative and alive. Perhaps you used to love art but don’t make the time to enjoy it or be creative these days. Try to find 10 minutes a day to reconnect to your passion and reignite your zest for life. Sometimes the sense of discontent runs deeper, and it may be necessary to consult the spirit world or a departed loved one for more clarity and direction. Finding what it is you love and makes your soul sing, making it an integral part of your life is the key to staying connected to your passion.

Stress may be a fact of life, but it doesn’t have to take over your life. Watch out for these high stress indicators, and put in place the self-care steps to bring more clarity, balance and pure happiness into your life.

“One of the guiding principles of mind-body medicine is the interconnection of all things, including the mind, the body, and the environment in which we live. Each of us is an inseparable part of an infinite field of intelligence, and in this very moment, with every breath, we are exchanging millions of atoms with the universe. From this holistic perspective, health isn’t merely the absence of disease or symptoms; it is a state of optimal wellbeing, vitality, and wholeness.  We are healthy when we’re able to fully digest everything we take absorb, extracting what is nourishing and eliminating whatever doesn’t serve us. This includes our food, our relationships, our jobs, and all our life experiences. Illness, in contrast, develops when there is a disruption ― a blockage in the flow of energy and information in our body-mind. Symptoms and sickness are the body’s signal that we need to restore balance, eliminate whatever is causing the blockages, and reestablish the healthy flow of intelligence.” ~ The Chopra Centre

This blog is about the Spiritual Significance of the Numbers 11:11

Have you ever noticed how often and unexpectedly the numerals 11:11 show up in your life at the oddest moments and situations? What possible significance could the numbers 11.11 mean with regard to global consciousness, and most importantly what significance, if any, does the 11.11 vibration have in our daily lives?

You happen to glance at your mobile and its 11:11. For no particular reason you check the time on the computer screen and there 11:11 is again.

You’re in the kitchen and the electronic oven clock reads 11:11 and strangely, it would seem that the more you start to notice this event, the more regularly it appears to show up in your life. In fact this is happening so often, to so many of us on a global level, that it has provoked a lot of discussion and written discourse. The web is awash with information on the 11:11 phenomena.

Researching the significance of sequential numbers reveals many views and metaphysical explanations; however perhaps the most simple and beautiful (to paraphrase the article), basically explains that those who first start seeing or searching for the meaning of the 11:11 are awakening to the vibratory changes around them. Our planet is changing, and consequently our reality is changing. All things including numbers have specific vibrations and accompanying frequencies. The number eleven is a very spiritual and powerful number. And just like the other numbers and symbols around us, the 11:11 vibration is establishing itself as part of the collective consciousness.

Wikipedia states “Numerologists believe that events linked to the time 11.11 appear more often than can be explained by chance or coincidence. This belief is related to the concept of synchronicity. Some authors claim that 11.11 signal a spirit presence. Others, that seeing 11.11 is an auspicious sign and the numbers themselves have mystical powers.”

Intriguingly the 11th day of the 11th month marks some powerful events in contemporary history. The Armistice that ended the fighting in Western Europe during the First World War took effect at 11am Paris time on November 11, 1918, “the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” Remembrance Day honoured in all parts of the Commonwealth, is the tradition of observing one minute of silence at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

Data reveals an increase in the number of marriages that took place around the world on the 11th day and the 11th month, 2011. Global Gods Day is celebrated on the 11th day of the 11th month.

So why are so many of us aware of the phenomena? On a metaphysical basis the appearance of these numbers is said to occur more frequently with those who’ve opened themselves to spiritual guidance and self-discovery. Many relate experiencing a feeling of being lovingly ‘pushed’ to establish a conscious connection with the ‘higher self’ and the universal God energy. Whether this awareness is engendered within the paradigms of traditional religion or gained through walking an alternative path is inconsequential as the phenomena is manifesting globally.

What is meaningful is that this is seen by many as an indicator of an increasingly powerful ‘call to consciousness’ that is occurring all over our beloved planet. The depth of the 11:11 connection would appear to be synchronized to our level of awareness and understanding of how fundamental the connection that exists between the physical and spiritual worlds.

To state the obvious the experience of the 11:11 vibration is as individual to each person as any other metaphysical encounter or understanding. However the common thread for all is one of a sense of wonder, inspiration and heightened intuitive functioning. A large number of people report a strong feeling that they are being shown it for a reason. When looking to understand the 11:11 manifestation on a personal level, it stands to reason that the only valid interpretation within the context of your life is your interpretation and understanding.

The number 11 is a very powerful number by itself. In Numerology the number 11 is a master number and represents inspiration, illumination, and spiritual enlightenment.

There are a great many explanations as to what it means to be aware of this event. Here a just a few:

Angelics: those working specifically with the Angelic Realm (and it’s energy) hold firmly to the understanding that if you are continually seeing the numbers 11, 11:11, 111 or 1111 then you are experiencing Angelic communication. It is said that the most common way that angels communicate is through the universal language of numbers and music.

11:11 Awareness: when seeing a synchronistic number, the first thing you should do is stop for a moment and become aware of what thoughts or actions you are engaged in at that very time. Apply a heightened awareness to your current surroundings, such as the song playing within your hearing, or the simple beauty of a smile or the natural world.

11:11 and Starseed Awakening: the 11:11 synchronicity often appears in the lives of ‘Starseeds’ and is said to occur at the time when they are awakening to their spiritual purpose and mission on earth. A Starseed is human with a soul that did not originate on earth.

Eleven is the number of new beginnings: 11:11 is a number activation sequence. One hypothesis holds that anytime you see 11,111 or 1111 on a clock it represents an opportunity for profound manifestation. The universe is creating a very powerful moment in which your intentions will manifest with a degree of speed and efficiency never before experienced.

11:11 Gateway or Portal: the doorway between two worlds — between the 3rd dimensional and the 5th dimensional worlds.

11:11 represents the spiralling twin strands of human DNA coming into consciousness.

Digital Time Code: this theory encapsulates several theories within the same premise. 11:11 unlocks your DNA and opens the subconscious mind through physically seeing these digital numbers and re-remembering why your brain was coded to remember the importance of 11:11.

Global Consciousness: when you see 11:11, you feel connected with the Universe and everyone else who is currently experiencing this phenomenon. You completely understand what “we are all one” means.

Spiritual Purpose: 11:11 presents you an opportunity to reflect on your spiritual purpose for being here.

For more detailed explanations and a further understanding of the 11:11 phenomena, I recommend you jump on the web and explore! It is well worth the effort.

Wishing you all a multitude of blessings, Cecelia

This blog is about Spirit Animal Guides

A Spirit Animal Guide is a reflection of your inner-spiritual self. It is possible to have several spirit animals over the course of your life but once an animal becomes part of you, that animal remains with you and never leaves.

One of the primary tenets of the Native American culture is their profound Spiritual relationship with Mother Earth and a deep connection with the natural world. This knowledge also includes the understanding of the role Animal Spirit Guides hold in their lives.

“American Indians view all things in creation as having spiritual energy. All things are connected and worthy of our respect and reverence. Our way is to seek balance and harmony within the complex tapestry of life called the Great Circle of Life.  As we move within the circle, we emphasize these truths:

Everything on earth is alive:
Everything on earth has purpose:
Everything on earth is connected:
Everything on earth is to be embraced.

A principal tenant of our belief is that all things are connected and we are related to all things in the circle.

All things on Earth Mother and all things in the Universe are capable of being Spirit Guides. Why? Because the Spirit of the Creator is in all things.”
- Manataka American Indian Council

Personality traits and characteristics may be associated with your particular Spirit Guide. The guidance provided by your Animal Spirit guide may manifest in skills you may have developed over the years or indeed abilities yet to be discovered, you may respond to their guidance on an emotional level, or you may receive guidance through thoughts and images.

There are a number of ways in which you may seek to identify and connect with your Animal Spirit guide. Meditation and clear intent would appear to be the primary path to establishing a spiritual relationship with your personal Animal Guide. Spending lengths of time in nature, taking time to listen and observe what is occurring around you: and taking the time to ground yourself in the immediate moment, are all seen as pathways to meeting your animal spirit-guide.

Here are some of the most common animals and their meanings:

Bear
The bear is a symbol of strength, offering support during difficult times in our lives. It stands for leadership and fearlessness, confidence and courage. If the bear is your spirit animal, it is likely you prefer to live a solitary lifestyle, staying away from crowds and instead enjoying your time resting.

Deer
The deer is strong and determined, with gentle qualities. If your spirit animal is the deer, it is likely you are highly sensitive and have very strong intuition. You will have innocence about you and be in touch with your inner child. You are vigilant and graceful.

Snake
The snake as a spirit animal represents healing, transition and transformation. These could be physical changes, emotional or spiritual. You will also have healing abilities.

Horse
The horse spirit animal signifies the drive to succeed, instinctiveness and a strong sexual energy. You are passionate, independent and motivated. You are able to overcome obstacles and pursue goals — regardless of anything that might stand in your way.

Butterfly
The butterfly symbolizes personal transformation and change. Whether you are experiencing these yourself, or helping someone else. The butterfly brings the message that you can handle change gracefully. It stands for rebirth or renewal, playfulness or a life cycle change.

Cat
The cat stands for patience, courage to explore the unknown and self-discovery. It represents harmony between two sides of life; that of light and the dark. It provokes courage, adventure, healing and independence.

Coyote
If the coyote is your spirit animal, it might be there to let you know you need to stop taking life so seriously. It is a symbol of playfulness and magic of life. It means you are adaptable and warns you to be aware of your surroundings.

Turtle
The turtle is a symbol of the Earth and symbolizes peace. It reminds you to slow down, pace yourself; and represents determination, persistence and emotional strength. If you need to feel grounded or you seek success in life, call on the turtle spirit to help guide you.

Tiger
The tiger represents willpower, courage and personal strength. It represents unpredictability and aggression (which might be directed at you, or felt by you towards someone else). The tiger trusts its intuition, acts fast and lives life with spontaneity. The tiger also symbolizes physical strength, vitality and health.

Whale
If you have the whale as your spirit animal, it means you should listen to your inner voice. The whale represents an understanding of your own emotions and it generally means you are a realist. It has a connection to physical and emotional healing, emotional rebirth, family and communication.

Dolphin
The dolphin spirit animal is a symbol of good luck (according to sailors for centuries who have thought dolphins to be good omens). It is a peaceful animal, protective and playful. If you have a dolphin as your spirit animal, it represents inner strength, morals and self-confidence. If you connect with a dolphin, it generally means you are a peaceful person with deep inner strength.

I highly recommend you take the time to find your animal spirit. It’s amazing what you could learn about yourself, and your life, by doing so.

Wishing you a multitude of Blessings, Love and Light!

This blog is about a brief look at Reincarnation

The belief in Reincarnation is one of the most widely held philosophies in the world. The literal meaning of the term Reincarnation is ‘to be made flesh again’. In essence this doctrine or metaphysical belief is based on the understanding that the soul, or divine spark, incarnates for the purpose of the spiritual evolution of the soul.

The understanding that the experiences and choices of each lifetime serve as lessons for the soul and on the completion of the lifetime, both the soul and its’ personal guides partner to review the individuals’ journey, with the purpose of integrating all that has happened and the value of the lessons garnered. It is said that the soul’s evolution is most effectively undertaken when facing all the choices made in a lifetime, both big and small, and experiencing the effects of each choice.

To do so the soul incarnates in the physical, experiencing the limitations and separation not only from others but also the loss of connection to all that is. This is said to be an illusion, a trick of the senses, as the soul itself is never really limited or separate. However the illusion generates enough desire, fear and conflict to expedite the soul’s purpose of making choices.

So where did the concept of reincarnation emerge? Identifying the origin of reincarnation is not easy, however, as early as the first millennium there is recorded discussion of reincarnation and the purpose it serves. The concept of reincarnation within India is thought to be much older however.

Greek philosopher Plato stated ‘all learning is but recollection’ based on the assumption that we recall our past memories, rather than learning something new. Pythagoras was emphatic that he could remember his past lives. Both in India and Greece there were many attempts to establish techniques that enabled people to recall past lives, Early Buddhist texts outline techniques for the purpose of recalling persons’ past lives. The Tibetan Book of The Dead is based on the science of death and rebirth in what is described as Tibetan Buddhism.

In the late 19th century Reincarnation excited great interest and study in Victorian England and by the early 20th century America’s philosophers and critical thinkers were also embracing the concept. Carl Jung published a thesis whereby he emphasised the importance of memory and ego in psychological studies of reincarnation. As a result the clinical use of hypnosis became the primary tool used in assisting people in the recollection of past life memories.

Later in the 20th century a publication by Ian Stevenson based on 2,500 case studies of children from all around the world who were able to clearly outline events of their past lives up to and including their deaths was made available to the public. Based on the data collected through this extensive research, Stevenson theorized that birthmarks and defects on a body corresponded with wounds the individual received in past lives. He also stated that phobia’s experienced by individuals in their current incarnation may be related to the cause of death in their immediate past life.

“The soul grows by reincarnation in bodies provided by nature, more complex, more powerful, as the soul unfolds greater and greater faculties. And so the soul climbs upward into the light eternal. And there is no fear for any child of man, for inevitably he climbs towards God.” ~ Annie Besant

America’s mystic Edgar Cayce espoused the theory of reincarnation and karma, but whereby these two principles were the instruments of a loving God and could be viewed as natural laws.

The classic Vedic texts of India identify reincarnation in Sanskrit as Samsara. Samsara means to be bound to the cycle of repeated birth and death through numerous lifetimes. Generally in Eastern philosophy it is considered that all life forms have souls. Prior to incarnating on Earth as a human being, the soul may have gone through a whole series of lives with the intention of experiencing various levels of existence and consciousness. The underlying principle being one of progressing through the different species of life such that the entity actually works their way through to achieving incarnation in the human form.

The idea that the ‘divine spark’ has but one life to evolve, offers the soul no means of rehabilitation and only endless despair. This is not reasonable by any measure. The doctrine of reincarnation allows us ample scope to correct and re-educate through multiple life times. The Bhagavad-Gita explains that even the direst manifestation of what it is to be human, may cross the ocean of birth and death by ascending the boat of transcendental knowledge. We simply have to be sincere in our intention to ascend, grow and carry the ‘light of the Creator’.

I hope you have enjoyed this brief exploration of Reincarnation and wish you all a multitude of blessings, light and love.
